3) Class Rescheduling and Attendance Policy

If the student notifies the school of a scheduling conflict by 20:00 on the day prior to the scheduled lesson, the class will be recorded and be sent to the absentee. If the student is absent without prior notice by the specified deadline, the lesson will be considered conducted, and no make-up class will be provided.

In cases where the school is unable to conduct a lesson due to its own circumstances, we will offer either a make-up class on another day or an extension of the course period.

However, in the event of cancellations due to natural disasters, major traffic disruptions, or other force majeure events, make-up classes will not be offered, as a general rule.

4) Payment method

As a general rule, we kindly request that the tuition fee—whether paid in full or on a monthly basis—be settled at least one week prior to the start of the course.
For monthly payments, please ensure that payment is made one week before the start of the next month or next set of sessions (four or five sessions, depending on the month).

A proof of payment is required each time a payment is made.

5) Outputs
Learners may be required to complete certain projects or outputs as part of the course. A consent form will be provided to inform learners about the potential use of these outputs, including the possibility of them being posted on our online platforms.

Learners have the option to grant or withhold consent, and their decision will be fully respected.

6) Online Class Guidelines

6.1) Learner Conduct
Learners are expected to adhere to high standards of behavior. Actions contrary to social morals—including causing disturbances to fellow students, instructors, or others; engaging in sexual harassment or violent behavior; disrupting business operations; or conducting unauthorized business activities on behalf of our company/school—are strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may result in expulsion from the institution, and in such cases, tuition fees and other payments will not be refunded.

Furthermore, the institution assumes no responsibility for conflicts between students or any incidental damages that may arise.

6.2) Online Class Behavior Guidelines

To ensure a productive and respectful learning environment for all participants, we kindly ask that learners observe the following online classroom expectations:

  1. Keep Cameras On: Learners are encouraged to turn on their cameras as much as possible to promote engagement and effective communication.

  2. Mute When Not Speaking: Please keep your microphone muted when you are not speaking to minimize background noise and avoid disruptions.

  3. Participate Actively: Active participation is expected during class. This includes responding to questions, engaging in activities, and collaborating with classmates.

  4. Choose a Quiet, Conducive Environment: Learners should join classes from a quiet, well-lit space that supports focused learning, free from distractions.

7) Recording Policy
Please note that video recording, audio recording, and taking screenshots during class sessions are strictly prohibited. Sharing of learning materials from the school is not allowed as well.

From time to time, screenshots or brief recordings of classes may be taken by the instructor or staff for promotional or internal training purposes. These may be shared on the company’s official platforms (e.g., website, social media, or newsletters).

  • Prior consent will always be requested before any screenshot or recording is used.

  • No names, faces, or personal information will be shared publicly without the participant’s explicit permission.

  • If you do not wish to appear in any materials, you may opt out at any time by informing your instructor or our team at dcecnc@delacruz-jp.com.

8) Termination
Should you wish to withdraw from the school, please notify us at least two weeks in advance. No refunds will be provided for any premature termination.
