Tomo: Our All-Around Superstar!

It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who’s been such a bright light in our team, but today, we’re sending off Tomo with big smiles, warm memories, and a mountain of gratitude.

Tomo has been with us through thick and thin, wearing more hats than we can count—literally all departments have felt the magic of his dedication, patience, and ever-positive energy. Whether it was jumping into new projects, lending a hand wherever it was needed, or simply bringing good vibes to our online meetings, Tomo has left a little sparkle everywhere he’s been. ✨

He was also the one-call-away staff for our GVs (teachers)—always dependable, quick to respond, and ready to support in any way he could. No question was too small, no issue too complex. Tomo was there, not just as a colleague, but as a trusted teammate and friend to so many.

One of Tomo’s most heartwarming contributions has been the Nihongo Web Cafe—a free event and safe space to learn Nihongo, laugh, and connect. He didn’t just host language sessions; he built a community. The glowing feedback from participants says it all: Tomo has a gift for making people feel welcome, supported, and inspired to learn.

As Tomo embarks on his next adventure, we just want to say: Thank you. Thank you for your hard work, your genuine kindness, and for reminding us all that a little heart goes a long way. We’ll miss you around here, but we’re cheering you on as you step into your next chapter. May it be full of exciting opportunities, continued growth, and lots of new coffee spots to discover—virtual or otherwise.

Wishing you all the best, Tomo. You’ve made a difference, and you’ll always be a part of our story.

Until we meet again—mata ne! ✈️
