In Japan, we have a long vacation season starting with Showa Day on April 29, followed by Constitution Day on May 3, Midori no Hi on May 4, and Children's Day on May 5, which is called Golden Week if you include Saturday and Sunday. If you look on the Internet, you will find many articles about popular places to go during Golden Week, such as Hitachi-Kaihin Park and glamping sites that I introduced to you are also popular.
Today, I found the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route's "Tateyama Kurobe Yuki-no-Otani Festival," which can be experienced only now. It is said that visitors can experience walking through "Yuki-no-Otani," a huge wall of snow approaching 20 meters high in Tateyama Murododaira, which is one of the world's heaviest snowfall areas.
Also, only during this season, visitors can experience the "Panorama Road," a snow-covered promenade with a panoramic view of the Tateyama mountain range, where they can enjoy a superb view of the mountains.

日本では、4月29日の昭和の日から始まって、5月3日の憲法記念日、5月4日のみどりの日、5月5日のこどもの日と祭日が続き、土日を含めると長い休暇になるのでゴールデンウィークといって、家族でどこかへ出かけたくなります。 ネットを見ていても、ゴールデンウィークにはこんなところが人気があるという記事がたくさん見られ、ご紹介したひたち海浜公園やグランピングのサイトなども人気のようです。
今日は、そんな今だからこそ経験できる立山黒部アルペンルートの「立山黒部・雪の大谷フェスティバル」というのを見つけました。 世界でも有数の豪雪地帯である立山室堂平の高さ２０ｍにも迫る巨大な雪の壁「雪の大谷」の中を歩いて体感できるそうです。
また、この時期だけ経験できるのが、立山連峰を一望できる雪の上の遊歩道「パノラマロード」で山岳の絶景を楽しめるとのこと。
